Planted Yesterday

Thank goodness I had a chance to plant some seeds yesterday. I planted sugar snap peas, carrots, broccoli, basil, okra, Rapunzel, plum tomatoes, bok choi and long beans (sitaw). I also have rice seeds, eggplants, corn, gourd, and bell peppers. I don't think I'm planting them this year. I am worry that it will not make it before the first frost.

Now the wait begun.

Nice site. I'll comment further once I've looked around. My wife and I have been gardening for nearly 50 years in various locations — for the last 20 or so in the maritime Pacific NW.

Still haven't mastered peanuts, but we're hell on peas, tomatoes, onions, beans, asparagus, shallots, carrots, potatoes, and even okra.

We have fruit trees, berries, and grapes, and an abundance of wild forage: mushrooms, greens, cardoon, and herbs — both wild and planted.

My blog is not about this stuff, but it is written by an old fart who likes to work in the dirt. I hope you find something there to make you laugh.

Thanks for dropping me an EC. I do the same to your blog. Like you, I like gardening too. The only different is that we don't have a big land so that I can plant a lot of veggies. Good luck to your gardening.
